Located on Mount Liang in Qian County, Xianyang, Shaanxi Province, Qianling Mausoleum is the joint burial site of Emperor Gaozong of the Tang Dynasty and his wife, Empress Wu Zetian—the only female Emperor in Chinese history. It is the best-preserved and most iconic of the 18 Tang Dynasty imperial mausoleums and is often referred to as the "Crown of Imperial Tombs."
