  • The Beacon Tower (The Tale of King You's Beacon Signals)Historical Legend: Perched near the summit of Lishan sits the site of an ancient Zhou Dynasty beacon tower. Legend has it that King You of Zhou repeatedly lit the beacons—used to warn of enemy attacks—just to trick his nobles and make his favorite concubine, Baosi, smile.
